Welcome to my page. I am Beth McLoughlin—a lover of words, grammar, style, wellness and nature. I live on the southwest coast of Victoria in Apollo Bay. 

My intention with Clear and Concise is to foster authenticity, expression and knowledge.  

 

My work has a focus on Wellness Professionals, though is not exclusive to. I am committed to working in the area of Wellness, an ever-growing industry with huge potential.

As a professional with unique skills and talents and as part of an evolutionary process, there's a need for attention and support in the detail of your work, especially when it comes to online presentation. I love to hone in on your words and work to help clarify and elevate your brilliant skills. I work in a way that encourages and supports your work to be the best it can. 

Whether you have a website needing care and attention: or an article, blog, sales page, social media edits, online course, a book or thesis—anything that covers the broad spectrum of getting your work out there, marketing and presentation.

 Writing and Editing has been a big part of my life. I have always relished reading books and loved the written word. Graduating with a BA (Hons), majoring in Creative Writing and Literary Studies from Victoria University. Later, I studied the YECL course with Capstone Editing. This intensive course has a focus on developing editing skills in academic, fiction, non fiction and other genres. I have edited several wellness websites, along with content for a variety of industries, worked one-on-one, as well as many hours studying in isolation.

Running my own business as a creative for several years, I understand the shifts and changes required to uplevel.  I have also worked in advertising, printing and publishing.

Packages have been created to make life a little easier, so check them out! I also charge by the hour, as all writing varies and can be straight forward or more complex to work on. My hourly rate is in line with the Institute of Professional Editors (IPED) fair rates of pay. I also offer a student discount.
